This User Agreement governs your access to and use of our website and services, including job posting, job applications, and any interactions between employers and job seekers.   • “User” or “You” refers to any individual or entity accessing the website, including employers and job seekers.

  • “Employer” refers to any individual or organization posting job opportunities on the website.

  • “Job Seeker” refers to any individual applying for job opportunities listed on the website.

 

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of Nautical Nomads, including posting jobs or applying for jobs, you may be required to create an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential.

  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Nautical Nomads reserves the right to terminate accounts or refuse service to any user at our discretion.

 

3. User Responsibilities

All users agree to the following responsibilities when using Nautical Nomads:

  • You agree to provide accurate and truthful information in your CV/resume and job applications.

  • You are responsible for verifying the legitimacy of job offers and employers.

  • You will not submit inappropriate, offensive, or false information through the platform.

 

3.2 Employers

  • You agree to provide accurate job descriptions and information when posting job opportunities.

  • You will not post any job listings that are unlawful, misleading, or irrelevant to the nautical or watersports industries.

  • You agree not to misuse applicants’ data or contact information, ensuring compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR (if applicable).

 

4. Job Listings and Applications

Nautical Nomads allows employers to post jobs and job seekers to apply for those jobs directly through the platform. By using these services:

  • Employers acknowledge that their job listings will be visible to the public.

  • Job seekers acknowledge that their CVs and contact information will be sent directly to the employers when applying for jobs.

  • Nautical Nomads does not guarantee the success of any job application or that the job seeker will secure employment.

  • Nautical Nomads is not responsible for the accuracy or content of any job listings or for interactions between employers and job seekers.

 

5. Fees and Payments

Nautical Nomads offers two types of job postings:

  • Basic Advert (Free): Employers may post job listings for free.

  • Featured Advert (Paid): Employers can promote their job listings for a fee. Fees are clearly listed on the website at the time of posting.

Payments for featured adverts are processed through secure third-party payment providers. By using our paid services, you agree to comply with their payment terms.

 

6. Prohibited Activities

Users of Nautical Nomads agree not to:

  • Post misleading or fraudulent job listings or applications.

  • Impersonate another person or entity.

  • Use the platform to collect or harvest information for commercial purposes not approved by Nautical Nomads.

  • Upload or transmit harmful code (e.g., viruses, malware) to the platform.

  • Engage in any illegal activity or violate applicable laws and regulations.

 

7. Termination and Suspension

Nautical Nomads reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the website at any time, for any reason, including if you violate this User Agreement. Termination may result in the deletion of your account and any content associated with your account.
